A Tradition of Better Sleep

Michael Rothbard comes from three generations of bedding experts. In the past, that may have meant simply helping a customer find a comfortable mattress. But these days, it’s so much more. It’s about helping each customer create the perfect sleep environment for his or her unique needs and bringing them products that help to increase the benefits of a productive night’s sleep.

Where it Began

In the 1980s, Michael founded Comfort Sleeper, a specialty bedding company that attracted attention for its better sleep products. Remember the “eggcrate” foam toppers? Customers swore by their comfort, and Michael’s company was happy to offer them as a way to help improve people’s sleep.
But with his passion for perfection, Michael knew the eggcrate wasn’t the solution to people’s sleep problems.

It All Led to This:

Twenty-five years later, he’s partnered with Chris Ann Ernst, another veteran of the specialty bedding biz, to create SleepJoy.

SleepJoy is dedicated to improving your quality of life through the power of sleep by bringing you the most advanced technology and products.

Michael and his team of chemists have been working on sleep innovations for 25 years. First bringing the science of ViscoFresh to market and now introducing Blueflex technology, SleepJoy continues to improve on the products it offers to the public.
